blossoming in the San Francisco Bay
area. The trends in the past year
correspond to burgeoning consumer
interest in high-end categories,
including chocolate, food from Spain,
cheese and wine.

some new merchants worth a visit.

Sabor of Spain
Marin County now has a way to appreciate
Spain— visit to San Rafael where Sabor of
Spain opened in the summer. Adjoining
Vinoteca, a Spanish wine bar, event space
and restaurant, this new retailer has a
storefront offering wine, spices, ceramics
and cookware. With the popularity of Spain
continuing to grow and reach new audiences,
this small shop is a welcome respite from
the nearby brewpubs and coffee shops.
