SABOR OF SPAIN VINOTECA opens in San Rafael
San Rafael, CA – May 10,

Sabor of Spain announced today that it is
opening the Sabor of Spain restaurant in the
“Vinoteca” style at 1301 Fourth Street. The new
restaurant connects to its existing gourmet food
and wine store, which specializes in products
only from Spain. Sabor of Spain will provide a
creative “Alta Cocina” menu with dishes made
from fresh, organic ingredients. Framing these
unique food creations is an impressive wine bar
with an impressive selection of wines, cavas and
sherries imported from Spain.
The restaurant will be open to the pubic
starting with dinner on May 10. Hours of
Operation are the following: Happy Hour is
Tuesday thru Friday, 4:30 to 6:00; Dinner is
Tuesday and Wednesday, 5:00 to 9:30, Thursdays,
5:00 to 10:00, Friday and
Saturday is 5:00 to 11 and Sunday is
5:00 to 9:00. Monday is closed.
In featuring Spain’s modern culinary style and
healthy Mediterranean diet, Sabor has created
delicious food delights that are as special to
see and they are to taste – taking the “tapas”
concept to the next level.
At Sabor, you can enjoy fresh-picked, organic
food with bright flavors and aromas in a modern,
yet casual setting - with two large communal
tables for large parties and social mixers.
Adam Savin, Sabor’s wine director, combines his
extensive wine knowledge and importing
background with his passion for Spain, to
provide customers with wines — in all price
ranges — that demonstrate personality, quality,
and buen sabor (good flavor). Sabor’s staff is
available to recommend perfect wine choices from
our own collection of over 160 carefully
selected wines.
The vision to create a Spanish destination in
San Rafael was born over 15 years ago in
Madrid. The dream was to bring not only the
