  • Friday, September 12  - The Liza Silva Trio Brazilian music from the heart is what Liza Silva has been presenting to the Bay Area and other parts of the state and the world for the past few years. Born in the charismatic city of São Paulo Brazil, she moved to the United States so she could broaden her knowledge of music and at the same time introduce North America to the contagious Brazilian rhythms.

  • Tuesday, September 16  - Mark Taylor will perform classic and Flamenco Spanish guitar.  Mark Taylor is an international recording artist and performer specializing in flamenco and Spanish classical music
     

  • Thursday, September 18  - Dave Miotke.  After singing and playing piano as music director at Max s Opera Cafe in San Francisco for five years, ending in October, 2002, David is currently freelancing, performing solo and with groups in styles as varied as jazz, cabaret, tango, Italian, strolling strings and classical. He specializes in performing the standard American songbook repertoire such as Cole Porter, Gershwin, Rodgers & Hart, etc. David studied at Northwestern University and earned a bachelor s degree in music theory and composition and a master s degree in applied piano. He graduated with honors and proceeded to be successful at singing, playing and arranging countless national radio and television commercials. While still an undergraduate at Northwestern University, he took time off to tour as co-lead singer and keyboardist with the well-known folk-rock group, H. P. Lovecraft, recording two highly successful record albums.  Free admission.

  • Friday, September 19 - Kathy Holly and her Trio.  International Jazz/Cabaret singer, Kathy Holly will be entertaining with her blend of Jazz & Cabaret. Kathy is a legendary cabaret performer and International Chanteuse (she sings in 8 languages). Her unique interpretations of the Jazz Classics; show tunes and International repertoire make her show interesting and entertaining.

  • Friday, September 26 - Wine Dinner and Jazz: Paula Bradman and her Trio.  Featuring Paula Bradman, Paul Distel, Fred Randolph and Eric Wiley.  Paula is an accomplished Jazz singer and actor and her performances include records, jingles, national commercials and movies. “ Bradman is a particular delight whether scatting her way through an up tempo number or singing a delicious ballad”. PAST EVENTS

  • Sunday, April 20  - Sevillanas and Feria de Abril.   Celebrate the biggest fair in Seville through dinning and dancing with Bay Area's performers Sol Flamenco:
    SEVILLANAS CLASS: Learn basics to dance Sevillanas, the folkloric dance of Sevilla, in Spain.   Pairs and couples are encouraged to attend, although individuals are welcome.  Students will receive a short verbal historical-cultural introduction to the Sevillanas musical form followed by a movement class in which they will learn the 1st of 4 segments. You will then be able to dance that segment together with the professional dancers in true "Feria" style at Sabor of Spain immediately after the class.  Class will start at 3:30pm to 5pm. Advanced class tickets: $15 per person ($10 for wine club members), $20 at the door.
    DINNER AND SHOW:  First dining seating will be from 5 to 7 with Sevillana show at 6pm; second seating will start at 7:30pm, with show at 8:15pm.

  • Friday, June 15:  Maite Klein - "Focus on Flamenco" Opening Art Show, Live Music and Wine.  Bay area photographer Maite Klein has enjoyed photography for many years.  She was born in Madrid and raised in Spain, the United States and Bolivia.  Her travels have lead her to Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, Tunisia, Mexico, Cuba and other countries.  In her latest exhibit, "Focus on Flamenco", Maite has collected a series of images taken from live performances using available light. She calls on her personal experience in music and dance to create images that transmit the vitality and emotion found within the essence of a moment.
